James Madison
In 1783, a Congressional Committee led by James Madison issued a report on a list of books to be used by Congress as reference materials. Published 10 times a year (we take a July and August recess), “Books for CONGRESS®” magazine book reviews honor the same spirit of Madison’s original Congressional report by recommending high-quality nonfiction reading for policymakers and lifelong learners.
The Issue Forums are an opportunity to learn more about issues impacting our communities at the federal, state, and local level.
Downloadable copies of the magazine can be purchased here.
The weekly podcast includes a brief book review and highlight of activities before the U.S. Congress.
