Nathan’s Papers, LLC publication, “Books for CONGRESS®" Magazine, features book reviews that would be useful resources for decisionmakers, policymakers and lifelong learners. In 2026, the nation will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. On November 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Suite 390, Beaverton, OR, 97005, we will discuss what was the most important year of the American Revolution. Light refreshments will be served.

Mrs. Rice has a family connection to Peyton Randolph, the President of the First Continental Congress during the American Revolution. She is also member of the Washington County Republican Party with 27 years teaching experience and former candidate for State Senate.

We will have light refreshments, announcements, and introduce the speakers.
10:15 - 11:55 a.m.
The presentation will focus on the work of the First Continental Congress.
