The Nathan’s Papers monthly newsletter, In CONGRESS, includes feature articles related to Congressional activities. It also includes our selection of “Books for Congress” that would be useful resources for policymakers. This list is modeled after a 1783 Congressional report by James Madison on a list of books to be used by Congress as reference materials on topics ranging from economic issues to the history of nations. The books selected for review In CONGRESS honor the same spirit of Madison's report. Beginning September 1, 2022, In CONGRESS will be available in the Nathan's Papers shop for purchase. We hope you enjoy!
